Your Society Gets A New Look
As you can probably tell, the Society is undergoing some changes to our “look”. During our 2010 strategic planning session, one of the major initiatives identified was to “Improve Communications and Marketing Efforts." Part of that initiative included engaging a marketing firm to review our communications and suggest changes to help us “cut through the clutter”. The firm’s research included a focus group session, an online survey and a review of various items we publish and use. The marketing firm suggestions include a new logo and a redesign of our communications including the newsletter, website, CPE;brochures, letterhead etc. We launched the new look with our January newsletter. Hopefully you didn’t miss it! It’s quite different but we are excited about the new colorful design. Our website is now in the process of being updated as well as other communication pieces. Another suggestion by the marketing firm was to streamline our organization’s name. Although several different variations were being used, our main title was “North Dakota Society of CPAs”. Our new, just slightly different usage will be, “North Dakota CPA Society”. You will also see “Colleagues You Can Count On” listed on many of our publications. This tag line not only refers to our members being able to count on fellow Society members but it can also be used to promote CPA professionals to the general public.
