Dr. Alan Zimmerman is a highly sought-after speaker with a vast array of experience including work in retail sales, recreation management, radio broadcasting, prison therapy, university teaching, and president of his own consulting company. He has spoken to more than a million people, in 48 states and 22 countries, maintaining a 92% repeat and referral business.
Dr. Zimmerman has 15 years of experience as a university professor. He has taught at the University of Minnesota, Emporia State University, Mankato State University, and the University of St. Thomas. Recently he was selected as the "Outstanding Faculty Member" by 2 different universities.
He has worked as a speaker, trainer, and consultant since 1972 and founded Zimmerman Communi-Care Network in 1985, a speaking, training and consulting company. Dr. Zimmerman was awarded the CSP by the National Speakers Association, an award given to the top 5% of all speakers nationwide. And in 2003 was awarded the CPAE (Council of Peers Award for Excellence) Speaker Hall of Fame by the National Speakers Association. A designation that less than 1% of the NSA speakers hold.
