Registration and Course Policies Registration:
To register, complete the registration form on this website.
Registration forms can also be found in periodic CPE promotional
mailings by NDSCPA. Although our programs are designed with
the CPA in mind, anyone who will benefit from the material
is welcome. Course registrations must be accompanied by payment.
Time permitting, a confirmation of your registration will
be mailed to you. Be sure to verify course location and time
upon receipt of the confirmation.

On-Site Registration:
For individuals unable to register before the seminar, on-site
registration is available the day of the seminar. However,
NDSCPA cannot guarantee that there will be textbook materials
available for you. If this should occur, NDSCPA will make
arrangements to have the materials shipped to you as soon
as possible.
Cancellation and Refunds:
For individuals unable to attend a seminar or conference sponsored
by NDSCPA, the following policies apply:
-
Full refund - If cancellation notice is
received 10 working days prior to program date.
-
Partial refund - If cancellation is received
less than 10 working days prior to the program date, a $25
administrative charge will be assessed.
-
No refund - If NDSCPA is not notified of
the cancellation prior to the day of the course program.
Exceptions to this policy are considered on
a case by case basis. NDSCPA reserves the right to cancel
a program. Prior notice will be given along with a full refund.
Bonus Pricing:
The Bonus Pricing offer is available through June 1 only.
An individual must register for at least three courses in
order to qualify for the discounted prices. In the event you
are unable to attend a bonus priced course, let us know at
least 14 days in advance and you can switch to another program
or we will refund your money. Any cancellations received after
the 14 day notice period will require a $25 handling fee.
(Emergency situations will be handled on a case by case basis).
Sorry, bonus registrations can not be used by another participant.
The Society reserves the right to cancel a program if deemed
necessary. Prior notice will be given along with a full refund.
Member and Nonmember Pricing:
The member fee for CPE programs is available to North Dakota
CPA Society members, CPE Learners Permit holders and members
of other organizations with whom we have reciprocal agreements.
Among others, reciprocal agreements are held with the North
Dakota Society of Public Accountants, the Montana, and the
South Dakota Society of CPAs. If you have a question regarding
whether or not you qualify for the member price, please call
the Society at (701) 775-7111. All other registrants are required
to pay the NONMEMBER FEE.
Lodging:
Registrants are responsible for their own lodging. The Society
reserves a block of sleeping rooms for participants at the
hotel/program site, which is released two to three weeks prior
to the seminar date. Identify yourself as a North Dakota Society
of CPAs registrant and request our room rate. We suggest making
reservations three weeks in advance.
CLE/UCE Credit:
The North Dakota Commission for Continuing Legal Education
instituted a policy in September 1993 providing that sponsor
applications for accounting seminars should be denied, but
that individual attorneys may apply for credit under the Commission's
Uniquely Connected Exception (UCE) guideline. This means that
the Society's (or any other vendor's) accounting courses can
not be pre-approved for CLE credits. Instead, attorneys may
request UCE credits by contacting the Commission. To apply
for UCE credits, participants should send the following to
the ND Commission for Continuing Legal Education:
-
A copy of the NDSCPA's catalog page and/or
seminar brochure
-
An explanation of how the seminar provided
info uniquely connected to the attorneys practice.
This information may be brief, with UCE letters
normally not longer than one page. An attorney may not claim
more than 20 UCE hours during any reporting period. Questions
and/or applications for UCE credits can be directed to the
North Dakota Commission for Continuing Legal Education, P.O.
Box 2136, Bismarck, ND 58502. (701) 255-1404.
