| Dan Chenoweth, MBA, CPA has over 25 years of experience in executive level positions in finance, general management and organizational effectiveness. He helps clients take their strategy to the bottom line through rigorous project management and change management techniques, and by engaging and motivating their people. He has held executive level positions in general management and finance in a number of industries including telecommunications, printing and publishing, heavy equipment manufacturing, and apparel manufacturing. Dan lives in Loveland, Colorado.
William C. Fleenor, CPA.CITP, Ph.D. is currently the CFO of K2 Enterprises. He has conducted seminars for more than 40 State CPA Societies and has spoken at numerous accounting technology conferences, including speaking at the AICPA Information Technology Conference for the past 14 years as well as doing training for other organizations such as the FBI. Will is a past Chairman of the AICPA Information Technology Conference in addition to being past chairman of other conferences and professional committees. Will is a co-author of the Practitioners Publishing Company’s Guide to Installing Microcomputer Accounting Systems and has had numerous articles published in professional journals including the Journal of Accountancy, the CPA Journal, and others.
Randy G. Fletchall, CPA
is the Chair of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for 2007 – 2008. He is also a member of the Institute’s Board of Directors. He serves on the Center for Audit Quality's Executive Committee and its Professional Practice Executive Committee, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s Standing Advisory Group, and the XBRL US Board of Directors. Randy is a partner with Ernst & Young LLP, where he serves as a member of the Americas Executive Board and as Americas Vice Chair – Assurance & Advisory Business Services (AABS) Professional Practice & Risk Management. In this capacity, he is responsible for National office accounting, auditing, SEC reporting, quality control, and risk management functions. Prior to transferring to the National office in 1996, he spent his first 20 years at Ernst & Young serving commercial banking and other financial services clients and in key leadership positions in the firm's financial services industry practice. Randy holds a BS in Finance and an MBA from Kansas State University. He is a member of Kansas State's Accounting Advisory Council and its 2007 Accountancy Hall of Fame inductee.
Edgar H. Gee Jr., CPA, DABFA, MBA is a firm practitioner with over 35 years of professional experience. He works closely with small business in areas of auditing, tax planning, IRS representation and litigation support services and business valuations. A noted author, Mr. Gee has published articles in the Tax Adviser relating to the largest independent contractor case against the IRS in U.S. history. He testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on the Oversight of IRS Activities in 1996. He is co-author of PPC’s Guide to Worker Classification. Winner of the Max Block Award by NYSSCPAs for Distinguished Article of the Year 2000, “Independent Contractor or Employee: How the Process Works Today.” Mr. Gee speaks nationally to many professional organizations. He was past president of the Knoxville Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jack Georger, CPA has served a broad base of clients including port authorities, higher education institutions, community service organizations, foundations, counties, school districts, cities, and employee retirement systems. In addition, the commercial clients he has served include construction, real estate, aerospace, research and development, agricultural and professional service firms. Mr. Georger has also consulted on numerous budgets, rate and cost studies for municipal authorities as well as the design and implementation of internal control systems for various entities. Mr. Georger is licensed to practice as CPA in the states of California, New York, Virginia, Connecticut, and South Carolina. He is a member of the AICPA, California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA), New York state Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Government Finance Officers Association. Mr. Georger currently serves on the Auditing Standards and Rules Committee and the Not-For-Profit Committee of the NYSSCPA. He is also on the Government Accounting and Auditing Committees of both the NYSSCPA and CSCPA.
Terry Kovacevich is the Operations Manager for Marathon Oil Corporation’s Bakken Project in the Williston Basin. He has worked for Marathon for 30 years with extensive Domestic and International Operations experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Terry worked International Projects for the 9 years prior to being transferred to his new assignment in North Dakota during July 2006. Immediately prior to moving to North Dakota he was working in Western Siberia, Russia and his other international assignments were in Sakhalin Island, Russia, Tripoli, Libya among other locations. Prior to his International assignments he worked in Anchorage, Alaska for 8 years. Terry has a B.S. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College (Ohio).
Rebecca Monley, PhD, LP is a senior management associate of Corporate Human Services of Bismarck, North Dakota. Dr. Monley holds a PhD in clinical psychology and is a licensed psychologist and certified mediator. She specializes in the fields of communication and conflict resolution, success orientations and strategies, and family and adolescent therapy. Rebecca brings expertise and years of experience as a clinician, manager and supervisor, and as an adult educator. Her broad base of knowledge and experience, her exceptional professional skills, as well as her energy and great sense of fun, contribute to making her an excellent teacher, mediator, and consultant. She lives in Cass Lake, Minnesota, with her husband Rob, and they have two grown sons. She is an avid gardener and hiker, and loves the outdoors and all of the visual and performing arts.
Ron Ness is President of the North Dakota Petroleum Council. His primary function is governmental relations in North Dakota and South Dakota. He serves as the industry spokesperson and manages the association. Ness was previously the President of the North Dakota Retail and Petroleum Marketers Associations representing more than one thousand members statewide. Prior to that he spent ten years with the state of North Dakota as the Deputy Commissioner of Labor and as a Compliance Officer with the State Tax Department. Ness is a Tolna, North Dakota native, a graduate of North Dakota State University in Business and Economics, and received his masters in management from the University of Mary. He is a graduate of the Bismarck/Mandan Leadership Program. Ness was appointed by Governor Hoeven to the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission and the Oil and Gas Research Council. The Secretary of the Interior appointed him to the Bureau of Land Management's Dakota Resource Advisory Council, and serves as Chairman. He was also appointed by the Secretary of Defense to the North Dakota Committee for Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve. He is a member of the University of Mary Business Advisory Board and South Central High School’s Business Advisory Board. He is past Chairman of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Personnel Team, and is Habitat Chairman for the Dakota Chapter of Pheasants Forever. He and his wife Becky have three children and are avid outdoorsmen, who enjoy golfing and hunting.
James E. Woy, CPA is an audit partner with Anderson ZurMuehlen & Co., P.C. and has over 26 years of public accounting experience. His expertise areas include nonprofit tax and auditing, pension plan audits and construction. He is Past President of the Montana Society of CPAs, serves as a technical reviewer for the MSCPA Peer Review Committee. He has served as a member of the AICPA’s Technical Issues Committee. James is an adjunct instructor at Montana Tech of the University of Montana. He is also a frequent instructor for the Montana Society of CPAs.
