Entertainment
Monday Evening:

Pitchfork Fondue: Enjoy a unique western meal with a magnificent North Dakota sunset as a backdrop. Savor your steak while you are serenaded with western melodies performed live by cast members of the Medora Musical.

Medora Musical: The Medora Musical is a two-hour professionally-produced musical variety show performed in the outdoor Burning Hills Amphitheatre. This high-energy, western musical is proudly dedicated to the legacy of America’s 26th President, Theodore Roosevelt, and his time spent here in the North Dakota Badlands.

Wooly Boys Saloon: It’s not often that a hospitality room gets billed as entertainment but this place is something special! In 2003, Mike Bullinger (fellow CPA and past President of the Society), remodeled an old garage into this old west party room. Using lumber from the old Medora Museum and a spiral staircase and bleachers from Shanley School he created a room that fits perfectly into the old west. The facility is named after the movie Wooly Boys starring Peter Fonda and Kris Kristofferson.

Young CPAs Horseback Ride: Mosey out to Medora early on Sunday and join other young CPAs (40 and under) for a horseback ride in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It’s an opportunity to meet some of your peers, and see some new terrain. We’ll meet at the Wooly Boys Saloon at 12:30, drive out to the trailhead, and have a 90 minute ride. You’ll be back by 3:30. Cost is $30. Register by calling the Society at 877-637-2727 or mark the box on the registration page.
