Top Technology Initiatives Web Seminar:
AICPA 2008 Top Technology Initiatives
Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 2:00-3:30PM EST (11:00-12:30PM PST)

Presented by David Cieslak, CPA.CITP and Dan Schroeder, CPA.CITP, CISA, CIA

The ubiquity of information technology in today’s business environment — and the increasing complexity and interconnectivity of today’s information systems — means that CPAs and other accounting professionals must increasingly address technology issues in order to fulfill their traditional fiduciary and financial management responsibilities. The AICPA’s Top Technology Initiatives list is intended to help CPAs and financial management professionals navigate the divergent opinions and hype surrounding technology, and focus their attention and resources on the initiatives with the most significant implications for their customers, clients and organizations.

In this special online seminar, AICPA IT Executive Committee members David Cieslak, CPA.CITP, GSEC and Dan Schroeder, CPA.CITP, CISA, CIA introduce the 2008 Top Technology Initiatives. Drawing on years of experience and interaction with clients in both the public accounting and business & industry spheres, they contextualize this year’s list, using background information and practical examples to provide participants with an introduction to each initiative – and their implications for CPAs and their customers, clients and organizations.

This exclusive online presentation – normally an exclusive benefit for AICPA IT Section and CITP Credentialed members – is being made available to you as an acknowledgement of your state society’s participation and support of the 2008 CITP Challenge.
Space is limited so don’t delay! [State Society] Members have the option of attending this online presentation for FREE, or purchasing 1 credit of CPE for $29.95 – $10 off the $39.95 regular price – by referencing promotional code: ITSEC.
